In February, Oppo unveiled its new Find X5 series, which includes three variants. Two flagship versions, the Find X5, and the Find X5 Pro sit alongside the entry-level Find, X5 Lite. With an official price of 999 Euros (US$ 1129), the Find X5 is far from a bargain, but it may be a better option for many customers than the Find X5 Pro, which costs just under 1300 Euros (US$ 1600).

Close to the Find X5 Pro

Apart from the form size and the SoC, there are only minor differences between the two variants. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is used in the 6.7-inch Oppo Find X5 Pro, however, the Snapdragon 888 is used in the 6.55-inch Find X5.

Both devices have a 120 Hz AMOLED display, as well as almost similar camera gear from Hasselblad and the MariSilicon X image processing CPU. Unlike the Find X5 Pro, the Find X5's primary camera has a 2-axis image stabilizer rather than a 5-axis image stabilizer. However, the Oppo Find X5's camera image quality is on par with that of its bigger flagship counterpart. There are no differences between the two in terms of power charging.

With an 80-watt power source, you can charge your phone quickly

Both phones include an 80-watt power adaptor, allowing the Find X5 to be completely charged in under an hour. Wireless charging up to 30 watts and reverse wireless charging up to 10 watts are also available.

In comparison to its flagship counterpart, the Find X5 makes just a few sacrifices, such as omitting an IP rating (Find X5 Pro: IP68). The Find X5 Pro has a significantly bigger battery, 12 GB of RAM rather than 8 GB, and a higher-resolution display (3216 x 1440 pixels compared with 2400 x 1080 pixels).
